Bakkt Secures Another Crypto Partnership

Bakkt Holdings ($BKKT@US) has secured yet another partnership with a bank to offer cryptocurrency to customers. The new partnership with Valliance Bank was just announced, noting that Bakkt will offer the bank’s customers access to Bitcoin and Ethereum through the bank’s mobile app. Bakkt Chief Revenue Officer, Sheela Zemlin, said, “we’re excited to partner with Valliance Bank and to bring crypto experiences fit for the needs of their clients.” President and COO of Valliance Bank, Alicia Wade, said, “more and more of our clients each week are signaling they’re ready to get started with crypto. We’re excited to partner with Bakkt as we innovate and broaden our offering beyond the traditional deposit accounts.” With assets totaling more than $580 million with 5 locations in Oklahoma and Texas and the virtual bank known as V.BANK, Valliance is merely awaiting a successful integration with Bakkt. At press time, Bakkt stock was trading just under $7 per share, gaining nearly 7% in early activity.
