आमतौर पर कई युवाओं पेट्रोल (Petrol) की गंध सूंघना अच्छा लगता है लेकिन ये एक काफी बुरी लत है. इसे स्नीफिंग पेट्रोल (Sniffing Petrol) या स्नीफिंग गैसोलीन (Sniffing Gasoline) के नाम से जाना जाता है. पेट्रोल सूंघने से नशा आता है जो सेहत के लिए नुकसानदेह है क्योंकि इसका सीधा असर हमारे सेंट्रल नर्वस सिस्टम (Central Nervous System) पर पड़ता है.
