Interesting aircraft concept,
I watched the video over and over.... all 4 passenger pods have landing gears but when the plane is completely on the ground... no passenger pods landing gears are touching the ground. As for managing the torque issue of a single engine... if the body of the engine is using counter rotating components could neutralize the single engine destructive force.

All that said, redundancy of engines is a critical safety feature. A far better design would be similar to the B2 bomber.. with fuselage and engine buried in the wing itself. If you did an 8 or 10 wide passenger compartment with two engines on either side you could gain passenger or payload efficiency while cutting fuel costs. The wing span would potentially still be a problem but if you used it for high volume routes or only for very large airports.
