Tonight on the show we will be focusing on Sarawak, especially after the Federal Government said the Territory will be given priority to complete its Covid-19 vaccination drive, due to the impending state elections. According to Vaccine Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, Sarawak will receive some 4.4 million doses of vaccines so it will be able to inoculate its entire 2.2 million adult population by the end of August. Is this the right approach to take to balance the twin demands for public health and adherence to Constitutional demands? Melisa Idris and Sharaad Kuttan speak to Dr Kelvin Yii, DAP Member of Parliament for Bandar Kuching and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Health, Science & Innovation.
