Qld govt calls for more funding in this week's budget

The Queensland government wants the Commonwealth to include a 50-50 split towards the cost of operating the state's public health system in Tuesday night's federal budget. Health Minister Yvette D'Ath says Queensland currently funds 55 per cent of the cost of running public health facilities - with the federal government contributing 45 per cent.
