पाकिस्तान में पिछले कई हफ्तों से जिस दिन का इंतज़ार विपक्ष बड़ी बेताबी से कर रहा था, वो दिन आया ज़रूर लेकन उसके हाथ मायूसी ही लगी। क्योंकि पाकिस्तान की नेशनल असेंबली में लाए गए अविश्वास प्रस्ताव पर मतदान ही नहीं हो पाया। ऐसे में पाकिस्तान की नेशनल असेंबली के डिप्टी स्पीकर कासिम खान सूरी ने संविधान के आर्टिकल-5 का हवाला दिया, और इमरान सरकार के खिलाफ लाए गए अविश्वास प्रस्ताव को बिना वोटिंग के ही खारिज कर दिया।
