Team of astronomers spot new 'micronova' explosion

A team of astronomers in the united kingdom has observed a new type of stellar explosion... a micronova. They used the European southern observatory's very large telescope to hone in on bright flashes coming from the poles of three white dwarf stars. Dr Brad Tucker - an astronomer with the Australian national university - says there are now three different degrees of novas.
