Welfare groups slam McGowan's surplus-laden budget over fee hikes and charges

The Premier, Mark McGowan has spent the day selling his surplus-laden state budget, fending off criticism it doesn't go far enough to ease cost of living pressures on West Australians. It's also provoked criticism from across the border, with WA's near record surplus of the five-point-seven billion dollars provoking fresh calls for a review of how the GST is shared between the states.
