The All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation has announced a Bharat Bandh on Wednesday, 25 May. This bandh has been called against the decision of the Central Government in which the Center has said that it will not conduct caste based census for OBCs. Bahujan Mukti Party's Saharanpur district president Neeraj Dhiman said that apart from caste based census, the federation is also demanding not to conduct elections with EVMs in the elections.

All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation ने 25 मई यानि की बुधवार को Bharat Bandh का ऐलान किया है। यह बंद केंद्र सरकार के उस फैसले के खिलाफ बुलाया गया है जिसमे केंद्र ने कहा है कि वह ओबीसी के लिए जाति आधारित जनगणना नहीं कराएगी। बहुजन मुक्ति पार्टी के सहरानपुर जिला अध्यक्ष नीरज धीमन ने कहा कि फेडरेशन जाति आधारित जनगणना के अलावा चुनाव में ईवीएम से चुनाव नहीं कराए जाने की भी मांग कर रहा है।
