Vincent Willem van Gogh ( Norn,Dutch: 30 March 1853 - 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who post mortem became one of the most well known and compelling figures in Western craftsmanship history. In 10 years, he made around 2,100 works of art, including around 860 oil compositions, a large portion of which date from the most recent two years of his life. They incorporate scenes, still lifes, pictures, and self-representations, and are described by striking tones and sensational, rash and expressive brushwork that added to the underpinnings of current workmanship. He was not monetarily fruitful and, battling with extreme misery and destitution, serious self destruction at 37 years old.
