Katherine Junk Festival recycles waste into sculptures, costumes

Rubbish is normally tossed in the bin and forgotten about but in the Northern Territory town of Katherine, trash is treasure. Every year, residents collect everything from plastic milk bottles to old car parts to transform them into prized sculptures and costumes for the annual Junk Festival.
