Geographically, It is bordering Afghanistan, China, Iran, and India. To the south is the Arabian Sea. Its population is more than 221 Million. 96% Muslim, 2% Hindu, and 1% Christian. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has the world's second-largest Muslim population. 33rd largest country by area and one of the world's best tourist destinations. I traveled across the country by train, by motorbike, by jeep, and by bus. Traveling in Pakistan is cheap, people are friendly with tourists. Pakistan is divided into six parts, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The major cities of Pakistan are Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Peshawar, and Quetta are connected by air, road, and railway. My journey across Pakistan by train was a good experience. I traveled on all active railway tracks. Unfortunately, Pakistan Railway is not in good condition but it is a good opportunity to explore safely different areas. You can easily travel south to north and east to west in Pakistan. The main railway stations are Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and Quetta. Pakistan railway has a 11881 Km broad gauge track. Mainline 1 From Karachi to Peshawar. Mainline 2 Kotri to Attock. and Mainline 3 Rohri to Chaman. Khunjrab Gwadar is a proposed railway project in the document. Pakistan has the best roads in the region. 2500 Km motorways are operational and an additional 1500 Km under construction or planned. Most new projects are under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor project. The maximum speed limit is 120 Km per hour and a minimum of 65 KM. The first time I visited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to watch Shandur Polo Festival, It is the highest polo ground in the world. Chitral to Gilgit road is not only beautiful and scenic but also dangerous. In KPK swat valley is the best tourist destination. Naran Kaghan and Babusar Top are also well known for long road trips. I visited the highest ATM Machine in the world. It is installed at China Pakistan Border Khunjrab Pass. China and Pakistan are connected by the Karakoram Highway. This road is also called Silk Road.
