Maggie MacNeil/MacNeal born Sjoukje Lucie von't Spijker in Tiburg, Netherlands. In 1971 released under the name Maggie MacNeil her first single "I heard it through the grapevine" and the same year formed the pop duo Mouth & MacNeal. In the period 1972-1972 they scored a few large national and international hits. In 1974 they partecipated to the Eurovision Song Contest classified at third place and the same year the duo Mouth & MacLean disbanded.
