"Gas Cylinder At ₹1000": Opposition's Poster War Continues Over Inflation In Parliament

As the Monsoon Session of the Parliament continues, the Lok Sabha was adjourned twice in the first hour of the session's commencement on Friday, 22 July, after sloganeering by the Opposition over price rise and inflation. Meanwhile, ruckus continued in the Rajya Sabha after it resumed following adjournment for an hour by chairperson Venkaiah Naidu. Opposition MPs raised slogans against the Centre in the well of the House and demanded a discussion on GST, asking PM Narendra Modi to come to the House for a discussion. Opposition leaders also raised placards and raised slogans in front of the Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex.
