This weekend, Laax in Switzerland will be the venue for the Highline Slackline World Championships 2022. At an altitude of 2252 meters on the Crap Sogn Gion, 31 athletes from all over the world will compete in the categories Speedline and Freestyle. While men and women performed their tricks separately in freestyle, they tried to run their fastest time in speedline. A total of three lines with a length of 65 meters and different tensions are available to the athletes for the freestyle, for the speedline contest there were two parallel 100-meter-long lines with the same tension each. The 27-year-old Frenchman Benoît Brume won the speed contest in 40.61 seconds on the 100-meter slackline.
