The Wind and the Lion (1975) HD

In Morocco in 1904, a famous Berber chief of the Rif, Mulay Ahmad al-Raysuni (also known as "the Raisuli"), kidnaps an American widow and her children, demanding freedom from Franco-Spanish colonialism as a ransom. The Marines, sent by President Theodore Roosevelt, who secretly admires the Raisuli, intervene to free the woman and her children. His companions pretend to betray the latter, who is handed over to a German garrison. The few American Marines, convinced by the widow, attack the Germans, and the Berbers, as planned, also attack the fort.
