The Indian weightlifting team that secured 10 medals at the ongoing edition of Commonwealth Games in Birmingham was given a hero's welcome when they landed at Sri Guru Ram Dass Amritsar Airport in Punjab on August 6. The team won 10 medals, including 3 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals. Four medal-winning players in the team are from Punjab.
