The only LP of the group from Albuquerque (New Mexico), founded in June 1964. The original lineup included Paul Chapman, drummer Lee Herres, singer/guitarist Michael Martin, and bassist Mac Suazo. It was one of the few bands in the mid-1960s where all four members were Sioux Indians. For the first six years, the band actively tours and records singles. Soon the musicians are left alone, Paul Chapman dies. Album “Drive It!” they record with guitarist RC Gariss. The album should appeal to those who love hard and psychedelic. There are already unconditional signs of hard rock based on rhythm and blues, but the spirit of psychedelia, what is called “psychedelic influence”, is still very strong.
Band founded in Albuquerque, New Mexico, by members of an indigenous Sioux tribe, who released this single album + 3 singles, of pure psychedelic hard/blues rock.
A record full of weight with an aggressive instrumental and vocal that leaves nothing to displease, marked mainly by the guitar lines with their powerful fuzz, and great bass lines. A decent 70's garage rock.
Later, the band changes its name to Xit, which remains with the same indigenous theme.
