Firefighters battled to save 30 homes from an inferno sweeping across a row of gardens in Feltham, west London.
Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters were called to the blaze on Hereford Road, where they tackled a blaze involving trees, hedgerows and shrubs at the rear of a row of properties.
Undergrowth and decking caught alight yesterday (Sunday, August 7) at just after 4.30pm.
Videos and photos of the scene show a huge fire pumping out vast clouds of thick grey smoke with powerful flames engulfing plants and scorching fencing.
