Thousands join class action against fast food giant

Australia's largest employer of young people McDonalds is defending a 250-million-dollar wage theft claim over allegations it denied paid breaks to workers. A union has begun the federal court action on behalf of every employee who worked at the fast-food giant over a certain period making it the biggest case of its kind in the country.
