BJP Calls NYT Article About Sisodia “Paid News”; Newspaper Replies “Impartial Ground-Report”

After Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called Manish Sisodia the best education minister in the world and said Delhi’s education model was being recognized at the international level, BJP leaders hit back. BJP leader Adesh Gupta, Parvesh Verma called the NYT article on Sisodia paid promotion. A spokesperson for the New York Times later clarified that the report was based on “impartial on-the-ground reporting.”
