Nitish Kumar-led Grand Alliance wins trust vote in Bihar Assembly

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led Grand Alliance government won the trust vote in the Legislative Assembly on August 24. The political scenario in the state has changed since Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with BJP and staked a claim to form a government with RJD earlier this month. Kumar was sworn in as Chief Minister for a record eighth time on August 10 and expanded his cabinet a week later.
