'Top 10 table player' at Star Entertainment Group's Gold Coast casino continued to gamble despite ban in other states, inquiry hears

The head of Star Entertainment has admitted the company should have had stronger policies in place to stop high rollers already banned from casinos interstate from gambling in Queensland. An inquiry looking into the operation's of Star casinos heard the company only introduced a policy in 2019 to stamp out the practice.
