New Koala ward for Werribee’s Open Range Zoo

Zoos Victoria and the state's RSPCA have marked the opening of a new koala ward at Werribee Open Range Zoo. The purpose-built two -point-five-five-million-dollar veterinary ward will help the organisations zoos care for an ever-increasing number of injured and sick wildlife. More than 120 koalas were treated at the zoo during the last financial year.
