The fantastic adventure of Dillad & Clark lasted 18 months, the time that took them to realize two albums. Doug Dillard from the Dillards and Gene Clark from the Byrds met at Whiskey A Go-Go, the new born band intended to play country, folk, rock and bluegrass. The band was joined by Bernie Leadon and David Jackson who at the time were part of Hearts & Flowers, and the result was the debut album "The fantastic expedition of Dillard and Clark".
