Californian singer-songwriter Cheryl Earnst in the early 1970s began working as composer for "Hello There", the publishing house of Bones Howe. Here Cheryl met a young Jeffrey Comanor whith whom she wrote and performed in clubs in San Francisco. Cheryl also collaborated with Warren Zevon and in 1973 she had the opportunity to release her first (and only) solo album "Always beginning". The album is a good work of folk-rock with jazzy influences, which occasionally hosts a wind section and an orchestral section. The songs are all written by Cheryl plus a couple signed by her friend Comanor. After "Always beginning" Cheryl Ernst continued her musical career exclusively as a composer, especially for jazz artist of the San Francisco area.
