Glen Goldsmith - 'Dreaming' 1988
Glen Goldsmith was born on August 17, 1965 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and is a UK-based singer. His hit songs have included "Dreaming", "I Won't Cry", "Save A Little Bit" and "What You See Is What You Get" which appeared on the album of the same name. Goldsmith appeared in the line up of Band Aid II in 1989 and other charities.
Goldsmith wrote and also recorded "You got me dancing" for his second album, subsequently released by RCA. The single was released featuring MC Hammer in 1989. Hammer also appeared in Goldsmith's video for this song .
Goldsmith met up with Rollover studios in the early 1990s and started to work with many other artist for their own projects. He worked alongside Ollie Jay and Ollie's father Philip Jacobs and this combination helped him to become one of the UK's top songwriters. He has also worked with Mica Paris before joining the team "Rollover" scoring a top 40 hit with "Call me by my name" written with Paul Johnson and Phil Edwards and Mica Paris. He has also worked with artists including Dannii Minogue, Ultimate Chaos Project, Rozalla, Deni Hines, MN8 and Kinane.
