Runners thrilled to compete as Beijing marathon returns after two-year Covid hiatus

The Beijing marathon was held in the Chinese capital on November 6, 2022, for the first time in two years following multiple cancellations because of the Covid-19 pandemic. About 30,000 people took part in the city’s first major sporting event since the Winter Olympics in February.
