Choking on factory waste, the Nile's rising scourge

In southeastern Uganda, where the Nile starts its 6,650-kilometre (4,130-mile) journey to the Mediterranean Sea, factories located within spitting distance of the river dump their waste directly into Africa's longest river, with dangerous consequences.
