Insect - Panorpa communis (macoptera) HD

Macoptera is a unique insect with a tail that resembles a scorpion's tail, that's why this insect is called the scorpion fly by the community, (some also call it a hanging fly). The word Macoptera itself is an order for an insect of a kind/type of fly, the word Macoptera is taken from the Greek, macos which means long and ptera means wing. macoptera including meat-eating animals (carnivores) because their favorite food is soft insects (insect carcasses), although they also sometimes eat nectar, pollen, fruit and even moss.
