For the first time ever this Christmas, audiences will be able to celebrate the holiday season in true festive style with a sparkling full-length version of The Muppet Christmas Carol as it comes back to UK and Irish cinemas from 2nd December. To celebrate its 30th Anniversary, the film’s famous long lost song ‘When Love is Gone’ will also be included and seen by audiences on the big screen.

The long lost song ‘When Love Is Gone’, sung by Scrooge's young fiancée Belle (played by Meredith Braun) in a flashback was originally cut from the finished movie and only found again in 2020. Over 150 cinemas around the UK and Ireland, including Odeon, Cineworld, Vue, and Picturehouse will be screening the sparkling new 4K print, with more to be confirmed.

'Tis the season for love, laughter, and one of the most cherished stories of all time! Join Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and all the hilarious Muppets in this merry, magical version of Charles Dickens' classic tale. Academy Award® winner Michael Caine (Best Supporting Actor) gives a performance that's anything but "bah, humbug!" as greedy, penny-pinching Ebenezer Scrooge.

One fateful Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Together with kind, humble Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog) and his family, the Spirits open Scrooge's eyes -- and his heart -- to the true meaning of Christmas. Filled with original music and dazzling special effects, THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL will become a holiday tradition your family will treasure all the days of the year.

THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL is in cinemas nationwide from 2nd December.
