Parzival — Legend 1971 (Germany, Krautrock/Progressive/Folk Rock)

In 1965, guitarist and vocalist Lothar Siems and drummer Thomas Olivier played together in the Bremen band Chamberlains, however, they soon spun off as a duet. Soon they were joined by Walter Quintus (cello, bass, keyboards) and until the end of the 60s the trio traveled around the cities and towns of continental Europe, until, on the recommendation of George Harrison, they ended up in the London studio of Decca, where already as a group Parzival they recorded a trial single. However, in Albion, things did not go further than a demo recording and Parzival returned to the mainland, home, where, under the tutelage of the ubiquitous Conny Plank, their debut album Legend was recorded and released in 1971 on the label Telefunken.
