In an interview with The Telegraph, Neymar said he's in good form ahead what he hopes will be a big tournament for him and his country.
"I'm happy, I'm having a very happy time at the club, so I feel well prepared," he said.
The Brazilian star also acknowledged that he and Messi didn't really discuss the World Cup all that much in the lead up.
"Sometimes we talked about the possibility of meeting in the semi-finals or in the final. I tell Messi that I'm going to be champion and I'll beat him," he said.At the age of 30, Neymar arrives at the World Cup in top form after an excellent start to the season with PSG. He's scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 19 games in all competitions.
"During my career I have achieved things I never imagined. If my career ended today, I would be the happiest man in the world," he said. "The World Cup is my biggest dream. I'm going to have another chance and I hope to get it."
