Mother Maria Teresa Bojaxhiu or better known as Mother Teresa (birth name Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu), who was venerated as Saint Teresa of Calcutta by the Catholic Church after her canonization, was a Catholic nun and Indian missionary of Albanian descent.
