audiotransparent 'VAGUE MILLIMETER' (short film)
PLOT OUTLINE
A man is living a solitary life on the roofs of his city. The tragedy that occupies his mind, is constantly feeding the distance he feels towards others. The only place that still reminds him of better times, is in his dreams.
One day he discovers strange signs on his path, leading him to meet his long-lost son; once again.
PROJECT STORY
In june last year Gijs from 'Audiotransparent' approached us to do a clip for them. We were really in awe with that, cause that very week we had made our first plans to start doing some more serious projects and had chosen 'Muziektelevisie' as the name for our "company" (not that we make any money with it).
The whole script idea was there already in summer 2008. It took some months before JS really started to work things out (check www.muziektelevisie.nl for the original script). In december the actual filming began.
For the leading roles Bram Urbanus and Stefan Hageman were asked, two extremely talented actors and quite famous in the northern parts of Holland. The supporting roles are played by Anneke Korfker and KDV.
The hardest part for this film was the editing phase. We mostly had to film on grey days, so the raw footage was not really impressive. But maybe that's the reason that we ultimately found a setting thats suits the film very well.
