How to use highlight tone priority

On the Canon cameras refers to the amount of detail that you will find in the highlights and when it is enabled you actually gain detail in highlights but you actually lose detail in shadow.
To access highlight tone priority press the menu button, red menu page 2 and scroll down to highlight tone priority and push enable.
