Beijing begins lifting sanctions on Australian coal

China's state planner has reportedly allowed three central government-backed utilities and its top steelmaker to resume coal imports from Australia. It's the first time a partial easing has been given since China imposed an unofficial ban on coal trade with Australia in 2020.
