Menindee flood peak expected to break 1976 record level
The western New South Wales town of Menindee is facing its worst flooding event in decades, with the darling river expected to peak at a record 10.5 metres. Up to 10 homes in the area have already been evacuated, while dozens more are being monitored by authorities.
