The flooding along the River Murray in South Australia has had a devastating impact on communities and it's also taking its toll on wildlife. According to the state's environment department, about 3,600 animals have had to be put-down and countless others have died. A dedicated group of volunteers is now working to keep one of Australia’s iconic species alive.
