The young Gascon D'Artagnan arrives in Paris, his heart set on joining the king's Musketeers. He is taken under the wings of three of the most respected and feared Musketeers, Porthos, Aramis, and Athos. Together they fight to save France and the honor of a lady from the machinations of the powerful Cardinal Richelieu.

Paris im 17. Jahrhundert – hier herrschen Intrigen, Betrug und Verschwörung. Der Bauernsohn D’Artagnan geht nach Paris, um in der Leibgarde des Königs Ludwig XIII ein Musketier zu werden. Er begegnet den drei Musketieren Athos, Aramis und Porthos. Aus anfänglichen Misstrauen entwickelt sich bald eine echte Freundschaft. Kardinal Richelieu, der Premierminister, lauert derweil gewissenlos auf eine sich ihm bietende Gelegenheit den König samt Gemahlin zu kompromitieren. Mylady de Winter hat großes Interesse daran, dass Frankreichs König gestürzt wird und an dessen Stelle Kardinal Richelieu die Regierungsgeschäfte übernimmt. In diesem Fall würde sie reichlich für ihre Dienste entlohnt werden. So zieht Mylady de Winter im Hintergrund die Fäden im Machtkampf um den Thron. Die drei Musketiere samt D`Artagnan sind nun verpflichtet diese Intrige zu verhindern. Das Schicksal von ganz Frankreich liegt in ihren Händen. Da heißt es: Alle für einen und einer für alle!
