NSW government cuts teaching postgraduate degree to one year
Aspiring teachers in New South Wales could be in the classroom after just one year of training with the state government lowering the bar to entry for new recruits. The teachers' union says the government should concentrate on improving pay and working conditions to attract more teachers particularly to the regions.
