Bullhead ist ein Drama über verlorene Unschuld und Freundschaft, Schuld und Sühne. Jacky ist Rinderzüchter im belgischen Limburg und sieht seinen geliebten Tieren bisweilen sehr ähnlich. Dank verschiedener Hormompräperate und Steroide ist er ein wahrer Koloss, der nicht nur seine Nachbarschaft in Angst und Schrecken versetzt, sondern auch seine Jugendliebe. Die gleiche Hormonkur spendiert der renitente Rinderwirt in Bullhead auch seinen Tieren, so wie einst auch sein Vater. Dies treibt ihn allerdings immer weiter in die Arme der Hormon-Mafia, welche selbst vor Polizistenmord nicht zurückschreckt.
