World Asthma Day is an annual event organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) to improve asthma awareness and care around the world. This year world asthma day was celebrated on 1st May. Theme of this year was 'Never too early, Never too late' Its always the right time to address airway disease. Choithram always proactively works for the welfare of society. In the same series we did lung function test on discounted price throughout the awareness week. Various awareness programmes were organised which includes talk shows on FM radio and Aakashvani. Awareness posters were made and patients were educated about the disease process. We also participated in the activity performed by the local chest societies
