THE Aliya Raising Israel Papua New Guinea has opened two offices to enable Christians to send financial assistance to Israel.
Director Pastor Albert Pawa said the Aliya Raising mission was to “help bring Jewish people back home and help them establish roots in Israel”.
The international director for Aliya Raising is businessman Alex Barrack.
He is a holocaust survivor who set up the PNG office in his hometown of Galilee.
He said Aliyah began 200 years ago with only 27 people and had since grown and gained momentum.
Aliyah is a Hebrew word meaning restoration.
Barrack is assisting Jewish people return home to Israel as a result of his own experience. His recent coming in January 2023 to Papua New Guinea marks a Mile stone for P.N.G.
