Malaysia's economy grew 7% in the fourth quarter of 2022, slightly under half the double-digit growth of 14.2% in the previous quarter.

Chief statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin on Friday (Feb 10) said the full year growth rose to a 22-year record high of 8.7%, compared to 3.1% in 2021.
