Kapustnica is a cabbage soup cooked in Slovakia, Ukraine and Czech Republic. There is plenty of recipes and ingredient variations of this soup but the main ingredient for all of them is sauerkraut. Here we offer you to cook cabbage soup in Czech style, it is cooked of a meat broth with mushrooms and smoked sausages and the point of this recipe is that no potato used. Kapustnica comes out very tasty and aromatic. There is a little of efforts with cooking of a cabbage soup – add all ingredients into a stockpot and leave simmering for an hour and half. And don’t forget to add some sour cream into your bowl of cabbage soup.
