Volkswagen has announced an updated version of its popular Touareg premium SUV, featuring both technical and visual upgrades. The car boasts a redesigned front and rear, with the latest chassis developments resulting in an impressive combination of comfort and performance. The car's interior features a new "Innovision Cockpit" with a 15-inch central touchscreen and high-resolution HD map data, voice control, and app integration via smartphone. Other updates include softer armrests and center console panels for improved comfort. Volkswagen has also developed new IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights with 38,400 micro LEDs, which provide significantly more brightness without dazzling other drivers, and a "lane light" feature that optimally illuminates the lane. The new Touareg also has an illuminated VW logo on the rear and a new roof load sensor that enhances driving stability. The car is set to make its world premiere in the summer 2023.
