Central Railways' Mumbai Division is now providing drinking water from a UN-recognized technology at six railway stations.
Meghdoot, an atmospheric water generator (AWG), is a device that extracts water from ambient air using the science of condensation. A kiosk will be installed at railway stations to provide this water.
In addition to the five kiosks at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Dadar, there will also be one kiosk at Kurla, four kiosks at Thane, and one kiosk each at Ghatkopar and Vikhroli.
