95-year-old Thomas McGoran wants the world to see his paintings

  • last year
Thomas McGoran had never taken an art lesson in his life when he picked up the oil paints - a retirement gift - to document life in Glasgow’s East End during the 1930s.

At 95-years-old, Thomas is now displaying 30 year’s worth of paintings at the Forge Shopping Centre in a bid to show the world before he dies.

What was supposed to be a two week exhibition has transpired beyond anything he could have imagined.
