Honey is a byproduct of rigorous labor from diligent insects, but how humans get it is not quite a sweet story.
Most people are unaware that throughout the process of gathering honey for human consumption, billions of bees are subjected to cruelty, kept in cages, and factory farmed. While honey is sold as "natural" and "healthy," we frequently are unaware of the hidden horrors that lie beneath the industry.
Given that, unlike bees, humans can survive without honey in our diets, is there a compelling reason for us to ingest honey? Also, there are some easily accessible vegan substitutes for it that would provide us with comparable health advantages and nutritional worth.
